(DIY) Do It Yourself...

Our goal with this post is to help other artists who may be struggling with "do it yourself" questions. Please help us reach that goal by adding your own tips and asking questions.

While working on various projects we have come across many useful programs. We also have had many problems arise. We are posting tips for others who have the same questions we had. Hopefully this page will help you by giving you the answers to all your questions in one convenient place. Obviously we can not answer every question you might have, but if you have one that is not posted here you can contact us and we will try to help you if we can. You can also ask us a question by leaving a comment.

Do you have questions about Adobe PDF's? Here are some great sites to help you.

One question that we had trouble with was how to shrink an Adobe PDF file without losing resolution. The best solution was to save our Photoshop projects as jpegs first instead of as pdf files. After saving all your files as jpegs and placing them in the same folder you simply import the entire folder into Adobe Acrobat and it converts each file to a PDF. This cut the file size down by more than half and the print resolution was still excellent.

Stop Spokeo

Hi, Friends

It is true that a lot of our information is out there on the internet for people to find, but when I found it all in one place I became concerned. Some of their information is wrong and some is scarily accurate. If you visit Spokeo.com and search for yourself you may be frightened by what you find. Use the privacy link in this post to be directed to Spokeo's privacy removal page. Here you will need to enter the URL address found at the top of the page that you wish to delete.

Let's stop this site from doing this! They give out: birth dates, names, addresses, phone numbers, credit scores, jobs, education, number of children, who is living in your household, and the list goes on and on! Join the petition I started against this site and let them know that we don't like what they are doing!
